I believe that everyone has a story. I believe that pictures, aren't just pictures. They are tiny glimpses into a person's story. Behind my lens, I strive to make a connection. So, that the photos that you are presented with show emotion, feeling and capture the essence of that very moment in time. Let me help tell your story.

I heart faces photo challenge, Raise your hands

This week at I heart faces the photo challenge is all about hands.  The photo I am entering this week is of my oldest daughter, Addie.

I planned this weekend (Sept 10, 2011).  Family and friends were invited to the park close to our home.  We grilled hamburgers, talked and laughed, and let the kids play on the playground.  Don't get me wrong, I enjoy the time spent watching the kids play on the playground and talking with the adults, but I could not WAIT for the sun to start it's decent.  About an hour before sunset, I asked if anyone would mind it I took the kids to the swimming area to play on the "beach".  Of course the kids were thrilled!

They played while I began to capture as many memories I could of one of our last outings of the summer.  Shoes were kicked off, sandcastles were made, seashells were searched for, clothes got wet, and I was rewarded with some AMAZING photos.

So, for this week's entry I chose this photo.
Sweet, precious hands of my girl.  Dirty from digging in the sand, proudly holding her found treasure.

Please don't forget to head on over to www.iheartfaces.com and check out all of the other "hand" pictures this week.
