I believe that everyone has a story. I believe that pictures, aren't just pictures. They are tiny glimpses into a person's story. Behind my lens, I strive to make a connection. So, that the photos that you are presented with show emotion, feeling and capture the essence of that very moment in time. Let me help tell your story.

A Labor Day Weekend Story

Labor Day weekend our family made plans to get up early and head out to the Little Red River to do some fishing.  Of course, I made sure my camera battery was charged and my SD cards were ready to go.  If I'm going to be up before sunrise, you can bet I'm going to take advantage of it!

The alarm clock rang out loud and clear in the early morning darkness.  We rolled out of bed with sleep still lingering in our eyes, dressed ourselves for a day of fun and fishing.  One quick stop to pick up Uncle Gray and we were on our way to our fishing hole.

The Little Red River was almost invisible thanks to a blanket of thick fog.  Early morning sunshine trying with all it's might to break through.  Hooks were baited and they began to hit the water.

It wasn't long before the trout started to bite and were pulled from the river with smiling faces.

Time spent with family.  A great day.

I Heart Faces, Theme :PLAY

The last 7 months have been an adventure!  Moving to a new town, starting a new school, making new friends, leaving old friends, closing a business, starting new jobs, buying a house, making it a home, and becoming part of a new church.
The best part of this adventure is that it was all part of God's big plan.  We now live in one of the most beautiful small towns the state of Arkansas has to offer, just 5 min down the road from my Dad and Mom.
My girls have an amazing set of grandparents who find time to spend with them (almost) daily.  In pure Grandfather fashion, my Dad lovingly crafted a seat, strung it from a tree with rope, and made my girls a rope swing.  It was such a hit, that very soon after, another swing was made and hung.  Watching them swing and PLAY on something that was made just for them is sheer joy.  What better place to spend a childhood playing than Granny and Grandpa's backyard?
